Elixir is happy to be highlit in a Studio Spotlight on The Dieline, an on-line showcase of “the world’s best examples of packaging.” The feature about Elixir presents several packaging projects, plus multi-component invitations and studio gifts from holidays past. Andrew Gibbs, The Dieline’s Founder & Editor-In-Chief, is compiling a hardcover book, titled “Box Bottle Bag: The World’s Best Package Design by The Dieline,” to be released internationally early next year. Elixir’s annual holiday gift to clients, colleagues, and friends is always a studio-wide undertaking—from concept to design to packaging to assembly. This year, silver linings seemed just the aspirational thing. Enclosed operating instructions laid things out simply:

Just in time for holiday meals and festive toasts! Golden Star Tea Company’s White Jasmine Sparkling Tea is now available at all Whole Foods locations in California. The Elixir-designed bottle {which won Golden Star a Best Iced Tea Packaging award at the 2008 World Tea Championship} will stand tall on any bar, buffet or table. This innovative product {which won Best White Flavored Iced Tea at the show as well} is also filtering into San Francisco specialty shops, including Plumpjack, Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant, and BiRite. Elixir’s client Golden Star Tea Company received two awards at the 2008 World Tea Championship: best iced tea packaging and best white flavored iced tea. Their White Jasmine Sparkling Tea was one of 268 products competing in the show, held May 30-June 1, 2008, in Las Vegas. More »
