Designerly Dozen

Jennifer Jerde, who alchemized (?!) Elixir in 1992, has been selected as one of a baker’s dozen of San Francisco designers whose work will be showcased in San Francisco Graphic Design. The exhibition opens at the San Francisco Museum of Craft + Design on January 15 (and will run through April 12, 2009).

Curated by Michael Osborne, the exhibition will also provide historical context, including a nod to local design legends and to the illustrious printers who were the City’s first graphic artists.

In addition to showing selected strategic client work, Elixir will display a heady retrospective of the firm’s holiday gifts to clients and friends.

The other designers whose work will be showcased include Barbara Vick of Barbara Vick Design, Josh Chen of Chen Design Associates, Sara Schneider of Chronicle Books, Tom Ingalls of Ingalls Design, Mitchell Mauk of Mauk Design, Michael Schwab of Michael Schwab Studio, Christopher Simmons of Mine, Cinthia Wen of Noon, Jennifer Bostic of Paper Plane Studio, Philippe Becker of Philippe Becker Design, and Adam Brodsley and Eric Heiman of Volume Inc.
